New State of the Art Stadium

Located two blocks away from the Amway Centre in Downtown Orlando, the new and improved Orlando City Soccer Stadium is due to open in 2017. The venue is home to both Orlando City and Orlando Pride teams. If your family are planning a holiday in Orlando, a sporting event can be a great addition to your itinerary. Opening this year, the stadium will have a capacity of 25,500. It is located in the heart of downtown Orlando, meaning that restaurants, bars and other attractions are within walking distance.

The stadium is set to include some state of the art design features. These include canopies to enhance crowd noise within the stadium as well as providing shelter from the sun and rain. The natural grass playing field will also be sunken by eight inches below ground level to offer great views from street level. Outside, there will also be an expansive fan plaza spanning 10,000 square feet. Available on the Orlando City Stadium website there is a virtual venue, allowing you to preview the stadium experience.
